Back in 2016 my lady and I decided we needed a big change. Tired of struggling with bills and rent we couldn't afford, we purchased a 1977 Weekender pickup camper and put it on the back of our flatbed truck. The camper was fully self contained (save for a grey water tank which we added onto the truck itself), so it had everything we needed for our transition. The camper didn't take up all the space that was available on the flatbed, so I enclosed the remaining space, put a small door in the side and made that our storage area. If what we had didn't fit in there, it was either getting donated, sold, or going to the dump. Between 2016 and 2018, we loved off and on in the camper on the road with from June 2017 on, living mobile full time. At the end of May 2018, we made our way to eastern Washington where we purchased land through owner financing and began building our homestead and me, the YouTube channel.
